Trina Altman, E-RYT, is an Integrated Yoga Tune Up® teacher trainer, STOTT PILATES® certified instructor, and a graduate of YOGAspirit Studio's 500-Hour Yoga Therapy Program. She is on the faculty of Kripalu, one of the nation's premiere yoga institutions and presents nationally at yoga and fitness conferences.
Trina's yogic journey began in 1993. She is a registered yoga teacher (ERYT 200 - RYT 500) with the Yoga Alliance, and a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT).
In 2002, Trina was introduced to Pilates, and found relief from pain and tightness in her back, neck, shoulders, and wrists resulting from long hours spent in front of a computer. Out of this experience, she developed a strong desire to share the gift of Pilates with others.
Trina's teaching fosters body cognition and self-discovery, firmly grounded in anatomical awareness. She builds bridges between the mystical and the pragmatic, and specializes in helping others to access their body’s tissues and their heart’s purpose.
Thanks to her education, experience, and training in both yoga and Pilates, Trina can design programs for anyone, regardless of age or physical condition. Her goal is to provide creative, fun, and effective programs precisely tailored to her clients' needs.
